Three Men Sought In October Shooting

Omaha police are asking for the public's help finding three men suspected in being involved in a shooting.

Investigators said the shooting happened about 10:30 p.m. near 16th and Ida Streets on October 18.

A short time later Creighton University Medical Center reported that someone was brought to the hospital with a s gunshot wound.

Police said that shooting victim was not critically hurt and was hurt in the shooting near 16th and Ida Streets.

Investigators told KETV Newswatch 7's Rob McCartney they are searching for three people in connection with the shooting.

Paul Kimmons, Charles Craven and Joshua Hammond are suspected of having an on-going feud and whenever they see each other they try to hurt each other.

"They feel like they can take things into their own hands by endangering the public," said Officer Jake Bettin.

Kimmons is black, 22 years old, 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs about 150 pounds.

Craven is white, 20 years old, 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighs about 180 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes.

Hammond is white, 19 years old, 6 feet tall, weighs about 185 pounds and has red hair and blue eyes.

Police said all three are known to illegally carry concealed weapons so they should not be approached.
