Accomplice In 6-Year-Old's Death Pleads Guilty

OMAHA, Neb. -- The man who is accused of being an accomplice in the murder of a 6-year-old girl pleaded no contest Thursday to a lesser charge.Michael Coleman, 20, was initially charged with first-degree murder in connection with the shooting death of Alazia Alford last year.He pleaded guilty to a charge of being an accessory to second-degree murder, a class three felony.
Coleman faces from one to 20 years in prison.He will be sentenced on Nov. 6.Jordan Goodwin, 15, was convicted of second-degree murder in the case.Alford was sitting in a parked car when she was shot to death last October.
