LINCOLN, Neb. -- New rules for student tickets at University of Nebraska football games will take effect when the season begins. All tickets will be general admission, making seats first-come, first-served.“For those who like to tailgate a little longer, they might get upset about it, I could see,” said UNL senior Jared Lauer.
The school has also moved the student section to the top rows of the southeast part of the stadium. That will allow students to stand the whole game without blocking the view of regular ticket holders.“You feel bad when you have a family or little kid sitting behind you so you don’t want to disturb the game for them,” said UNL sophomore Erin Grant.Seniors and juniors were given priority for east stadium seats. In all, 215 more tickets have been allotted for students.
